Brother Wolf

Brother Wolf, is a book (ISBN 978-0952495987) by the Wolf Preservation Foundation, first published in 1994. Its contents include, "Wolf, Genis Canis, family canidae"; "The Wolf in Europe"; "Understanding the Wolf"; "Those related to the Wolf"; "Wolf - Dog Patterns"; "Predator - Prey Oscillations", and much more. The book shows that the wolf is a very important predator in nature's ecosystem.[1]

A poem at the beginning of the book, written by Baron Barrymore Halpenny, sums up the spirit of the book and its aim of education.

I am but a Wolf, born to be free,
This should be clear, for all to see,
I want nothing, but what is rightfully mine,
Decreed as such, since the beginning of time.

I hold no anger, yet man I fear,
For man destroys, yet sheds no tear,
For how can I, have respect for you,
With all the destruction, that man can do.
